The striker believes that everyone was expecting something more from the team when he was leading the group

The Swedish champion retired from international football after Euro 2016 but he analyzed the upcoming match between Sweden and Italy that will take place tomorrow. The playoffs are a very important step for both national teams. Two nations will challenge each other to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Although his absence could be determinant for Sweden, Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes that now the team can play with no pressure and this may be better for them.
Sweden, Ibrahimnovic: “The project started over. New coach and new players can prove themselves”
Manchester United's striker released an interview with 'Sky Italia' and stated:
“When I was playing there were high expectations. Everybody was thinking that the group should have competed to win the Euros or the World Cup. Nowadays, the situation is completely different. They can win or lose not feeling the pressure.
When I play, I put pressure on me and my team, because I like it. I have to say that when I played we were better, without me, they are not so good.”
Zlatan Ibrahimovic also spoke about the new coach and Sweden's current roster.
“Ibrahimovic is not with the group right now. Maybe they are more of a team now. Everybody has a chance to demonstrate his value. now there's a new coach and new players. The project started over.
