Marsch’s men devastated their opponents at Toyota Park and qualified to the next round

AUDI 2017 MLS PLAYOFFS CHICAGO FIRE NEW YORK RED BULLS / Although they were the clear underdogs, New York Red Bulls demolished Chicago Fire on the road. Jesse Marsch's guys got the lead in the 6th minute thanks to an opportunistic goal by Bradley Wright-Phillips who stubbed Lampson with no mercy. 

The Red Bulls approached the game in the right way and dominated the possession during the 90 minutes. Captain Sacha Kljestan doubled the lead sneaking into the net a cross by the talented youngster Tayler Adams.

Chicago Fire didn't have the possibility to react. The Red Bulls outperformed the Reds in every zone of the field. Daniel Royer added a third goal in the 70th minute clearing the hopes of Dax McCarty & Co.

Gonzalo Veron scored the 0-4 scooping the ball in a 1vs1 against Lampson after having received a delicious ball through by Kljestan. 

New York Red Bulls will face Toronto FC in the next Audi 2017 MLS Playoffs round

Jesse Marsch's men now have a tall mountain to climb. The franchise of New York will face the Supporters' Shield winners Toronto FC. The first-leg of the Conference Semifinals will take place on October 30 or 31 at the Red Bull Arena.
