This Champions League match will take place at 2:45 (EST) and according to former Venezuela International Alejandro Moreno, the GROUP C will be decided in the next couple of games.

Moreno believes that Atletico Madrid will pass the group stage

Moreno is convinced that Atletico Madrid will pass to the next stage while one between Chelsea and Roma will be eliminated.

“We can’t forget that this group is very competitive. Our expectation is that the Spanish side will pass the group stage so Chelsea or Roma will be relegated to the Europa League.

GROUP C will be decided in the next couple of games.”

As reported by ‘Express.co.uk', Moreno believes that today’s match is pivotal to understand something more about this Champions League group.

“Today Roma faces Chelsea at Stamford Bridge but then Chelsea will travel to Rome for the return game. I can’t stress the importance of these games enough.”

Roma’s coach Eusebio Di Francesco and Chelsea’s Manager Antonio Conte are aware of the importance of this double round. In their press conferences ahead of the Champions League clash both coaches spent great words on their rivals.

“We all know that Roma has a lot of quality players. We tried to purchase Nainggolan in the past. He is one of the best in the world in his role. The giallorossi are an amazing side. – stated Antonio Conte.”

Eusebio Di Francesco is aware of Chelsea’s dangerousness. “This is an important match for us and we want to demonstrate that we can play well against great sides too. Both teams are wounded and eager to redeem their latest bad performances. We are here to play our football.”
