The President of the Popular Republic opens to investments leaving shadows on future developments
NEWS INTER MILAN CHINA / Today was the opening day of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party. The event that is taking place in Beijing until October 24 is important to understand something more about China and its investments policies.
PPC’s General Secretary and President of the Popular Republic Xi Jinping spoke about the guidelines that the government is implementing in reference to the domestic and foreign investments.
This congress is very important for the investors of two Italian teams, Inter and Milan. Both clubs have Chinese ownership and the alleged restrictions on foreign investments could have compromised the investment plans that Suning and Yonghong Li are putting in place.
Xi Jinping believes in a great and inclusive trade network
According to ‘Sina.com', Xi Jinping stated:
“We are going to promote international cooperation putting in place trade networks, investments, and financing. It’s really important for us. We have to promote the free flow of investments in order to make globalization more open and inclusive.”
In reality, Xi Jinping’s words are not totally clarifying the objectives of the Popular Republic of China. Nowadays, it’s still not clear if China allows investors to make foreign acquisitions or to inject serious capitals in foreign markets.
Xi Jinping believes that “Openness is important for progress while a state of isolation can damage the system.”
In light of that, China is definitely open to domestic investments but is the government backing wealthy investors that want to expand their business abroad? The answer is…we don’t know at this time!
