Napoli, Faouzi Ghoulam set to walk away from Serie A

Liverpool and Chelsea are behind his refusals

TRANSFER MARKET NAPOLI GHOULAM LIVERPOOL CHELSEA / Napoli is in the middle of the Faouzi Ghoulam's saga. The Algerian fullback was supposed to renew his contract with the Partenopei soon but, reportedly, he is ready to walk away from Napoli.

Apparently, the Algerian has received several offers from Top-European clubs. Premier League top teams Liverpool FC and Chelsea are seriously interested in signing him. Antonio Conte knows the Italian football very well having trained Juventus FC for several years. Chelsea boss, therefore, knows that Faouzi Ghoulam can be a great added value for the Blues. Liverpool FC's German coach Jurgen Klopp targeted the Algerian as well for his ability to attack the space and support the offensive phase.

Ghoulam appears no closer to signing a new contract with Napoli at this time. Even Mario Rui's agent Giuffredi highlighted that the Algerian fullback should leave the club soon.

“In just four months the player will be able to sign for whoever clubs due to his current contract that is set to expire in June. He knows that he can make €5 million somewhere else and if I were his agent I'd do that for my client.”
