Manchester City's coach is not willing to let Sterling go. The winger is a very important piece of the Manchester City project. Pep Guardiola clarified, once more, that Raheem Sterling is not leaving the club in January. The club deeply believes in his qualities.
“We have invested a lot of money in him and he will remain with us. Unless our players want to leave, they stay here. Otherwise, they have to talk with the chairman and see if the operation is feasible.
We firmly believe in Sterling's qualities. There's zero chance of his move somewhere else.”
Arsenal is set to reignite their interest in the England international. Last summer, Arsene Wenger was ready to put in place a swap deal with Manchester City. The French coach would have pushed Alexis Sanchez to Manchester in order to sign Raheem Sterling but Pep Guardiola refused the offer.
