The former President is not eager to buy Thohir’s equity shares
INTER MORATTI THOHIR / Moratti is not eager to return in the Inter world. The former President of the Nerazzurri is not interested in purchasing Erick Thohir's equity shares.
Rumors were stating that Massimo Moratti would have been ready to seal a deal with the Indonesian investor. According to the press and media, Moratti was negotiating Thohir's 30% equity shares in Inter in order to return to the club.
However, the current situation seems to be different. Massimo Moratti denied the rumors.
“I am not interested in pursuing Erick Thohir's shares. -said Inter's former President. I was in possession of that 30% and I decided to sell it. I don't understand why I should buy it back right now.”
The Indonesian investor should have sold his equity stake to Suning last June but the recent restrictions imposed by the Chinese government complicated the situation. Anyway, Thohir is ready to end his commitment with the Nerazzurri soon.
