MLS-Week 28: Toronto confirms its hegemony in the USA

The Canadian franchise is setting new highs in the MLS

MLS WEEK 28 / 11 games played over the weekend and Toronto FC confirmed its hegemony in the Major League Soccer. The Canadian franchise is now 11 points ahead of the team closest to them in the Supporters' Shield standings, New York City FC

Although Sebastian Giovinco and Jozy Altidore didn't join their team in the away match against LA Galaxy, it didn't make much of a difference. Toronto FC crashed the Californian franchise 0-4. 

NYC FC traveled to Colorado to face the local team. Colorado Rapids scored the equalizer just two minutes from full-time after Tommy McNamara amazing goal from outside the box, 1-1 the final result!

Chicago Fire sealed a 3-0 victory over D.C.United on Saturday night at Toyota Park. Former Manchester United Bastian Schweinsteiger was injured but with this win, his team is now in the third position of the Eastern Conference. 

Vancouver Whitecaps draw 2-2 against Columbus Crew, however, the franchise kept the leading position of the Western Conference ahead of Portland Timbers and Sporting Kansas City.
