The Brazilian star was ready to move to Spain
COUTINHO BARCELONA LIVERPOOL / Liverpool's offensive midfielder Coutinho expressed his point of view about the offer that he received from Barcelona this summer. The Brazilian talent was ready to move to Spain but suddenly his transfer didn't go through. The player has unveiled that he passed through a very difficult month but now he is totally focused on Liverpool again.
Coutinho was interviewed by ESPN FC and stated:
“It's good to be playing since I came back I have trained a lot with the group. I think that Liverpool is playing well even if we didn't win the last match.
There has been a lot of speculation about you but the fans embraced you again. What do you feel?
Everyone knows what happened and I received a good reaction from the fans. It's five years that they are supporting me. I respect them and they do the same with me. Now I have to work hard for the sake of my team.
I have received a job offer somewhere else and my family and I were interested in it. It was an honor to receive an offer from a big club like that. But I am playing with Liverpool who is a great club too and I have to do my best for these colors.
There is also my national team that I care about. I have to do great things to join Brazil and play well with them too. I am focused on my present. I don't think about the future because I have to train hard to honor Liverpool on the field.”
