The doctors excluded a serious injury for the Italian fullback
JUVENTUS INJURY DE SCIGLIO / Mattia De Sciglio's injury is not serious. Certainly, this is a good news for the Bianconeri that need available defenders to face the various national and international competitions. De Sciglio got an injury during the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League clash between Barcelona and Juventus.
Massimiliano Allegri believes in the quality of his fullback who joined the Bianconeri after a troubled period with Milan. In a press conference held during the pre-season in the USA, De Sciglio confirmed that he was hoping for a change. The club of Turin gave him this possibility and the Italian defender hopes to repay Allegri's trust.
Today, Juventus released an official statement in reference to De Sciglio's physical condition. The player underwent medical examinations at the J Medical center. The preliminary medical report confirmed that there's not a serious trauma to De Sciglio's right leg. However, the doctors also stated that further examinations are necessary and will be done in the next few days.
