The Serie A directors seem to be in total agreement with their British counterparts and stated that in the next few months they will work out a solution to change the system in Italy as well.
According to the 'Sun', football federations are thinking to eliminate the January transfer window. Calciomercato.it has interviewed the famous players' agent Claudio Vigorelli to ask his opinion about this.
“I believe that it's right to end the transfer windows before the beginning of the regular season. Two months of trading are too much. Even in our environment, we are talking about a change of system. I also believe that the January transfer window should not be closed but reduced. Teams could have injured players to replace. In Italy, the winter transfer window was open in November, maybe we could return to that model.”
