FIGC’s President spoke about Giampiero Ventura

FIGC's President Carlo Tavecchio spoke about this possibility and stated:
“I recently called Giampiero Ventura to say that we still believe in what he is doing. He can go ahead with his project. If Italy will not be able to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, we will assess the situation all together to protect the interests of the Italian football federation.
This is a project that is based on young players and it needs to be supported. Everyone was happy before the defeat against Spain. We will see what to do if we will suffer an early elimination.”
