FIORENTINA DELLA VALLE / The group of Italian entrepreneurs interested in Fiorentina's acquisition withdrew the offer. This is what Sport Man's Alessio Sundas stated in reference to this negotiation:
“Sadly, the group of Italian entrepreneurs interested in Fiorentina's acquisition have withdrawn the offer. We have to sadly confirm that the actual owners of the club didn't take into consideration a serious offer made by entrepreneurs that are leading companies quoted in the stock market. The offer was worth €100 million. A plan to strengthen the team was included in our project as well.
Della Valle's silence confirms that there is no interest in our proposal. It seems to be a definitive closure and for this reason, we decided to step back. We thank all Fiorentina's fans who supported us during this period. Unfortunately, our attempt was not taken into consideration and this is not our fault.”
