Careca on Icardi and Mertens “They have 20% of my value”

Former Napoli striker and Brazilian star spoke about the upcoming Serie A match Napoli-Inter

NAPOLI INTER CARECA MERTENS ICARDI / The upcoming Serie A clash between Napoli and Inter is another important exam for both teams. Maurizio Sarri and Luciano Spalletti shaped their teams properly. Currently, both squads are performing well and collecting points.

Careca: “this is not the moment to celebrate”

In that period, a Brazilian star and the legendary Argentine Maradona were leading Napoli’s offensive operations. Careca was recently contacted by Italian outlet ‘Corriere dello Sport’ and stated:

“I hope that the final result of this match can be good for Napoli. (In 1989-90, Napoli won 2-0 against Inter).

Napoli would deserve the title. They did great things in the last few years. However, this is not the moment to celebrate.”

On Saturday, Icardi and Mertens will face each other. The two goalscorer are doing great things in this campaign. 

“Mertens discovered this role recently. Icardi grew up being a striker. They are both great players. In my opinion, the Belgian has something more than the Argentine. 

However, both have 20% of my value.”
