It’s not easy to choose a career. Most of the time we are driven by opportunities and we accept whatever jobs we are proposed. But the reality is that we should follow our real passion. 

This is what three ‘normal workers’ have done. I am talking about three people who decided to leave their jobs to pursue their passion for football. Three people who became great coaches, Mourinho, Sarri, and Ferguson.

Mourinho

The legend tells us that Josè Mourinho became a professor of physical education, but just for one day. He quickly decided to follow his passion for football and he did it as an interpreter for Bobby Robson. All the time he spent studying was not used to teaching in a simple school but it gave him access to the world of football. 

Sarri

How can you become a coach after having worked for years in a bank? We could ask to Maurizio Sarri, the current Napoli coach. 20 years ago he decided to give vent to his passion. He was already training teams in the lower categories in Tuscany, but suddenly he understood that in order to be happy football should have been his daily commitment.

Ferguson

Let’s talk about our new Scottish chef Mr. Alex Ferguson… Yes because the phenomenal Manchester United coach was taking lessons to become a chef before he decided to get rid of the pans and leave the kitchen to start a triumphal path in football. He definitely created the legendary Red Devils winning several local and international trophies. 

The road to success is not easy but if you don’t follow your passions, then you can never say … I did it!
