TRANSFER MARKET ROMA MONCHI / Roma's sporting director Monchi answered the fans questions via Twitter. The Spaniard expressed his happiness for the operations completed during the past transfer market window.

“It's very important that players like De Rossi, Strootman, Nainggolan, Dzeko, Perotti, and El Sharaawy decided to stay with us. The transfer market period is not only made to buy or sell players but also to be able to keep those you already have. 

We have to be ambitious and believe that this season can be a great one. However, we also have to keep calm and do things properly. Our first goal is to pass the Champions League group stage. Then we can start dreaming. Hopefully we will win something as soon as possible! I've said that since the first day I arrived and it's something I always have in my mind. I think about it when I go to bed and when I'm in my office. One day I want to make Roma fans' dreams come true.

Our offensive line is very competitive. We have to be happy with what we have right now. Dzeko, Defrel, Schick are great players. Moreover, Defrel and Schick can cover different roles on the field.
