Manchester United, Martial: “I’m hungry, desperate to play”

The frenchman is making a difference this year but he wants to do even more for the Red Devils

NEWS MANCHESTER UNITED MARTIAL / There are players able to make a difference in any club since the beginning of their adventures but others need to get used to the new environment before they can perform at high levels. Anthony Martial can be included in that second category. In the first period at Manchester United, the Frenchman struggled but his life has changed. Recently, he was voted October's star man by fans on Twitter and collected the Player of the Month award for the second times consecutively. 

Manchester United, Martial confident in the Premier League clash against Chelsea

Sunday's Premier League trip to Chelsea could be a pivotal moment for Anthony Martial and for his team Manchester United. The player is confident that the Red Devils will be able to perform well against the Blues albeit playing at Stamford Bridge is never easy. 

“Things are going well for me in this season. I cannot say the same thing about my performances in the previous campaign. I have to give my best for this club.

Against Tottenham, I came on the field as a sub and I wanted to do something for the team, actions, goals etc. I’m hungry, desperate to play.”

Anthony Martial already scored seven goals this season, only one goal less than the 2016-17 campaign. Manchester United invested a lot on him and the forward is ready to repay Mourinho's trust with great performances. The upcoming match against Chelsea is not worrying him at all. 

“Although Chelsea didn't start as well they did last year, they are a top-level team. They will give their best to defeat us. – he said to Manchester United's official website. However, we have to win albeit this match will be very difficult for us.”
