PSG, Verratti: “€100m for me but I never thought about leaving”

Recently, the Italian playmaker changed his agent, “This is why I chose Raiola”

NEWS VERRATTI PSG / “I couldn't expect such as hectic summer window. I have never said to be ready to leave PSG. – this is what Marco Verratti said to 'L'Equipe'.”

In the past transfer window, the Italian playmaker was linked with Juventus and Inter.

“People think that I stayed at PSG just for the money. But I could have earned well somewhere else too. I would have cashed-in more if I had decided to leave last summer. There were clubs ready to offer €100m for me. 

Neymar could win more at Manchester City or Chelsea but he chose PSG for the project. This what I have done too.”

Verratti chose Raiola thanks to Ibrahimovic

Verratti also explained the reasons why he recently replaced Donato DiCampli with Mino Raiola. 

“I knew Raiola because he is Ibrahimovic's agent. The only thing I told him was that I didn't want to be in newspapers on a daily basis. He is an experienced professional with great relationships with clubs. Zlatan suggested him to me. Each time I followed his suggestion on and off the field I did well.”
