Fabregas compares Conte to Simeone

The Spaniard believes that the two coaches have a very similar approach to football

FABREGAS CHELSEA CONTE SIMEONE ATLETICO MADRID / Spain International and Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas highlighted similarities between Antonio Conte and Diego Simeone. The player believes that the Italian coach knows what he wants and he is able to inject his winning mentality into his players. 

In a recent interview with the Spanish outlet 'Marca', Fabregas further analyzed Conte and Simeone's way to gain loyalty from their crews.

“It's very hard to work with Conte. We train a lot but everything he is teaching us works properly. The group follows him because he is a great coach. He shows us what can happen if we don't follow his suggestions and it happens exactly. The same thing as with Diego Simeone. 

I played with many different styles in my career. I can say that I am a lucky man. I have had the best coaches of the old school. 

In today's football, you have to be physically and mentally ready. We play every three days and if you're not in a perfect shape the games will eat you up.”
