This summer, Milan invested a significant amount of money to sign Atalanta's fullback Conti. The situation has dramatically changed in the last few weeks. Conti picked up an injury with the Italian national team and for this reason, he wasn't available in the Serie A match against Lazio.

Recent rumors are stating that Conti's physical condition is presumably serious. The knee of the Italian defender cracked. Reportedly, he suffers from a possible cruciate ligament rupture. If this first report is confirmed, the player should undergo a surgery and he would be out for around four months.
