TRANSFER MARKET JUVENTUS PIQUE' / The past transfer market window was very active for the Bianconeri. Marotta traded several players reshaping Allegri's roster. However, the Italian CEO is still thinking to sign a player able to replace Bonucci.
Although Rugani represents the future of the club and Chiellini, Barzagli, Benatia, and Howedes offer the necessary quality to face the Serie A and the Champions League, Marotta is searching for something more too. Juventus needs a defender able to start the action and this is the reason why there's a crazy idea in Marotta's mind, Piqué. This operation seems to be impossible especially because Piqué is one of Barcelona's columns. However, even Higuain's negotiation was crazy but the Bianconeri sealed a €100 million deal with Napoli.
However, Marotta is probably not willing to invest a serious amount of money on a 31-year old defender albeit he is one of the best defenders in the world.
Barcelona's current situation seems to be uncertain. The Blaugrana could decide to renew their roster in the next couple of years and Juventus could try to approach the player to check his availability to move to Turin. This could be an operation similar to Pirlo's. The Italian playmaker played a couple of great seasons with the Bianconeri before he moved to New York.
