Exclusive Carpeggiani: “Juve Top, Acerbi very close to Inter”

TRANSFER MARKET SERIE A JUVENTUS BONUCCI CARPEGGIANI / The transfer market window is closed and Calciomercato.it had the pleasure to interview Augusto Carpeggiani, a famous players' agent.

“Juventus closed great operations during this transfer market window. They purchased four top level players such as Höwedes, Matuidi, Bernardeschi and Douglas Costa. Even Sampdoria and Torino did well. 

I was expecting something more from Fiorentina but I think that this is a strategy that the Della Valle brothers put in place. They got a new coach (Pioli) and a new sporting director (Corvino), both of them are great professionals. 

Undoubtedly, Bonucci is a great acquisition for Milan. Juventus and the Rossoneri were talking about this deal for a while. I don't believe that such a big negotiation can be developed and sealed in a few hours. However, Milan got several players and it will not be easy for Montella to assemble an efficient team rapidly. 

Acerbi was very close to Inter. We were in contact and negotiating the move. Then Spalletti and Sabatini joined the Nerazzurri and the negotiation stopped. This is the reason why Acerbi has renewed his contract with Sassuolo until 2022. 

I believe that Juventus is still the best team. Behind the Bianconeri I see Inter. Milan, Napoli, and Roma will challenge to reach the other two available Champions League spots. 

The surprise of the 2017-18 Serie A will be SPAL. The club operated well in this transfer market session. Schiattarella, Lazzari, Mora, and Vicari will be protagonists this season. Borriello, Felipe, and Paloschi know Serie A well.
