Suning has a budget ready for January
TRANSFER MARKET INTER / The club seems to be ready to provide Spalletti with new players. The latest rumors are stating that Inter is chasing players to strengthen its midfield and defense line. These were the two most vulnerable sectors of the team last season and Ausilio and Sabatini are working hard to be ready for the transfer window in January.
Inter should purchase a defender to complete Spalletti's defense line. The Nerazzurri were chasing Mangala, Mustafi and Rolando but now they are interested in Atletico Madrid's José Gimenez as well. The player has a long contract with the 'Colchoneros' that is set to expire in 2022. Other Italian clubs are monitoring Gimenez, we are talking about Roma and Juventus.
Inter would like to sign a new midfielder as well. Someone able to replace Brozovic. A player able to be a pure midfielder but with an offensive attitude too. Spalletti has expressly requested this kind of player and the club is screening the European market to find the right profile. The Nerazzurri could pick a midfielder from the South American market as well because they have a non-EU spot still available.
According to Calciomercato.it, Gaston Pereiro could be the right name for Spalletti. The Uruguayan is currently playing with PSV. He plays behind the striker but also on the flank. His price-tag is €20-22 million.
Santos' Lucas Lima is another option for the Tuscan coach. His contract is set to expire in December.
Inter could also surprise everyone deciding to sign PSG's Lo Celso (eventually on-loan) or Shanghai SIPG's Oscar albeit the Brazilian moved to China less than a year ago.
