Juventus plans Milinkovic-Savic’s blow

Lazio’s midfielder could move to Turin at the end of the season. Juventus and several British clubs interested

LAZIO MILINKOVIC-SAVIC JUVENTUS / Lazio is definitely one of the surprises of the 2017-18 Serie A. Simone Inzaghi's men are performing well since the beginning of the season. Although their recent defeat in the Derby della Capitale and a disappointing home draw against Fiorentina in the last match, the Biancoazzurri are close to the top of the standings and still chasing for a European spot.

One of the top players in Inzaghi's side is the Serbian Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The 22-year-old is Lazio's best midfielder, a player able to set the pace of the game. His physicality and ability within the box are other key skills of the Serbia International. Recently, the player was called up by his national team too. This was a deserved reward for a great talent.

Lazio ready to cash in selling Milinkovic-Savic. Juventus monitors the situation

Several clubs are chasing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The Serbian is Lazio's jewel in midfield and Claudio Lotito, the President of the Italian side, will be happy to trade him only in exchange for a whopping sum. According to CIES Football Observatory, his current transfer value is €47.6 million but Lotito will not let him go for that fee. Lazio's Sporting Director Igli Tare knows that he could sell Milinkovic-Savic for around €70m and he will try to set the bar very high in order to make a huge profit on him.

Juventus and several British clubs are, reportedly, chasing the player. Antonio Conte would like him for Chelsea. Sergej could be perfect for the Premier League due to his great physical qualities and temperament. Even Manchester United is monitoring the situation. Josè Mourinho loves tall and powerful midfielders and Savic could be a perfect player for his tactical scheme as well. The Serbian could form a great duo with Paul Pogba, a couple of midfielders with great technique and endurance.

Marotta and Paratici are definitely interested in making an offer to Lazio as well. The player is not moving in January but it's right in this period that great negotiations start in order to be finalized during the summer transfer window. According to the Italian outlet 'TuttoSport', sources close to Claudio Lotito stated that Lazio would accept around €70m to trade its midfielder out. Although Marotta is not willing to participate in international auctions with top European sides, Juventus is ready to make an offer. The Serbian is a kind of player that would be perfect for the Italian side, a club that loves professionals with great talent and temperament.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic's current contract is set to expire in 2022. Lazio seems to be in the condition to maximize its investment during the summer. Is Lotito willing to do so? The answer is I do not know but if a club will make a serious offer probably the Italian president will happily accept it having in his hands the possibility to reinvest millions of euros to strengthen its team.
