Borussia Dortmund punished its striker for a trip to Barcelona. Rumors are linking the player to Milan

MILAN AUBAMEYANG BORUSSIA DORTMUND / The transfer market ways are endless. Although the January transfer window will not open for another month or so and the summer session is seven months far away, negotiations are triggered during the season when the leagues are going on and the clubs are concentrated to perform well.

Reportedly, the striker has not been included in the list of the players that will face StuttgartBosz, the coach of the German side, decided to punish Aubameyang for his recent trip to Barcelona with his girlfriend and brother. Two days ago, the player traveled to Spain as confirmed by a few pictures and videos posted on 'Instagram'. Probably, the club didn't appreciate his unauthorized trip and formally punished the striker.

As Calciomercato.it reported, the name of the Ghanese striker was linked to Milan during the past summer. However, the duo MirabelliFassone didn't have the possibility to sign him and Aubameyang remained with Borussia Dortmund. Milan, instead, decided to sign Andre Silva and Kalinic. Can Milan spend around €83 million for Aubameyang next summer?

This is the main question Milan fans are asking themselves. Nowadays, Montella's men are not close to the Champions League spots after having passed through many troubles in the past few months. Although the 2017-18 campaign is still very long, the Rossoneri cannot be sure to play that major international competition next year. Montella could try to win the Europa League to get direct access to the most important international league for clubs but it will not be easy.

If Pierre Emerick Aubameyang will go on the market several clubs would be interested in him. We are talking about BarcelonaChelsea, and PSG. We cannot forget the rich Chinese clubs that would love to see him playing in the Chinese Super League to enrich the domestic football. According to 'CIES Football Observatory', Aubameyang's contract is set to expire on June 30, 2020. The current transfer value of the 28-years-old is €83.2 million (a +3.2% since August 1, 2017).
