BARCELONA DEMBELE INJURY / Although Barcelona was hoping for a minor hamstring problem, Ousmane Dembele will be sidelined for up to four months. This is what today's medical examinations highlighted in reference to the physical condition of the talented winger.
“Dembele reported the rupture of the tendon in the femoral biceps area in his left thigh. -stated Barcelona's official statement. The player will undergo a surgery in Finland this week. Dr. Sakari Orava will be the doctor in charge of the surgery.”

This is a major drama for the Blaugrana who signed Dembele right after Neymar left for Paris Saint-Germain for €222 million. The former Rennes and Borussia Dortmund winger is the club's most expensive ever signing (€105 million initial fee that can go up to €145m with various bonuses).
Gerard Deulofeu has a great opportunity right now. He needs to demonstrate his quality to be a starter for the Spanish giant. Deulofeu returned to Barcelona last summer after having played for Everton in the Premier League and for Milan in the Serie A.
